SeaSoaked Skin’s eco-luxe skincare products are based upon a form of Thalassotherapy, the therapeutic union of marine algae and mineral salts. Carefully chosen for their function, sustainability and natural benefits, every ingredient we use is creatively and organically formulated without the use of parabens, phthalates, petrolates, sulfates, animal-derived ingredients, artificial dyes or fragrances. Each product we create contains one key ingredient: the humble, prolific miracle of seaweed, and we’re proud to procure only the finest, sustainably-grown and harvested organic kelp from regenerative ocean farmers in Southeast Alaska. We believe combining the natural benefits of the sea in a sustainable way is “beauty with purpose”, and we can’t wait for you to try it out.
Nikol’s Story
SeaSoaked Skin was born from the love of the sea, its everlasting beauty and natural, healing powers. This inspiration came from being raised out on the water in beautiful Alaska, even though we now reside in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest. But experiencing the power of seaweed first started in 2007 after I took my first seaweed soak during a trip to Ireland. I’ve been hooked ever since and continued studying advanced organic formulation to create SeaSoaked Skin and to spread the word about this gently powerful and beneficial water plant. I wanted to make skincare products and seaweed soaks into a daily ritual, not only for myself—but for others as well.
