This month celebrates Earth Day! In the middle of Spring, we devote a whole day to thinking about and recognizing our relationship with the Earth. This is an important celebration since there is only one earth and our actions affect the health of our planet. Sustainably & Ethically Sourced. We carefully select farmers and growers whose practices benefit the earth instead of depleting resources.
Sustainably Farmed & Harvested. We choose to work closely with a regenerative farm in Alaska to source a high-quality kelp and to support mariculture, marine farming that is integral to fighting climate change.
Organic Ingredients. Every ingredient we use is creatively and organically formulated without the use of parabens, phthalates, petrolates, sulfates, animal-derived ingredients, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances.
Eco-Friendly Packaging. All our mailing boxes are recyclable and /or reusable, and we choose to use molded pulp packaging to protect the contents during shipping because it is made from biodegradable fibers like recycled cardboard, paper, and natural fibers such as sugarcane, bamboo and wheat straw.
Recyclable Labeling. Not many people realize that packaging tape and labels on shipping boxes thwart recycling because if these are not removed, the box cannot be recycled at most recycling facilities and instead, gets processed with the regular waste. SeaSoaked Skin promotes recycling by mostly using recyclable labels, and not only that, but we further protect the environment by using non-toxic adhesives that can be composted or recycled after use, too.
