Every day should be earth day! Think of it as the best landlord you’ve ever had. Why would you move out with all the perks that are offered? None of the other planets in the entire universe are as cool as our Mother Earth, so there’s no time like the present to give back in every way possible.

Each day offers an opportunity to do the feel good things, such as thinking twice about how the things we purchase and how they’re packed and with what materials? Distinguishing what’s trash and what is recyclable. Refill responsibly by bringing along your water bottle or coffee cup. While sitting in traffic or a ferry line, turn off your engine. There are so many daily things we can all do, each day of the year to help out this wonderful, ever-evolving, loving place we call our home, so c’mon let’s invest in our planet!

When you step outside this weekend, look around, look up, breathe in and breathe out, be thankful. Hopefully this moment will inspire you to go play in your garden, maybe buy some seeds or trees and plant them anywhere you’d like. And if you’re near a body of water, be it a lake, river or beach, there are many groups within your communities that have organized earth day clean-ups! Need to find one? Visit EARTHDAY.ORG.
